The ring-pull tops are also used to make walking aids and frames

DR Therdchai Jivacate designed the legs which are lighter, more comfortable and 10 times less expensive than the imported ones
to make since they are made of recycled plastic and ring-pull tops
The Prostheses Foundation has a mobile prosthetic unit which travels to rural remote areas to make artificial legs free of
charge for poor and disabled amputees.
The Foundation has volunteers, doctors and technicians to make artificial legs all year round.
