The pig book was the inspiration of Hew O’Halloran Giles in 1902 at the age of 12.

One was simply blindfolded and asked to draw a PIG. The blindfold removed,
one then wrote a poem about the Drawing of the pig.

Many of Joanna’s relations feature in the book revealing humble tales of innocent pigs.
